LUCID (2019)

A surreal and dark story about a girl who gets so immersed in her private perception of the world that reality crumbles around her. When she recognizes a stranger on the street as the woman from her nightmares, she becomes obsessed with rescuing her from the grasp of a mythological captor.
This short film was produced as a thesis project at UC Santa Barbara and won the Best Director Award from the UCSB Film Department. The film had its world premier at the Prague International Indie Film Festival in 2020. It later screened at the HollyShorts monthly screening at the TCL Chinese Theater in LA in 2022.
